Tracking & Proof

Most US domestic LTL shipments deliver in two to six business days depending on the lane, while FTL runs door to door on a dedicated trailer. Expedited freight with team drivers cuts transit nearly in half. Every load streams GPS milestones, so you always know exactly where your pallet is right now.

Every Colivelo shipment generates nine GPS-stamped scan milestones from pickup to proof of delivery, each timestamped and visible in the tracking portal. Ocean crossings can pause updates for several days while the vessel is at sea. Domestic loads typically update every few hours, and automated email alerts keep your team informed.

Colivelo's proof of delivery includes a signature from the person receiving the cargo, a timestamp confirming the delivery time, and a photograph of the cargo at the delivery location. This three-part POD is uploaded to the tracking portal immediately after delivery and serves as your delivery evidence.

Pricing & Quotes

Every itemized rate arrives within two business hours of your request during business hours — lanes, fuel, insurance and proof each on their own line. If your request lands overnight or on a weekend, it is answered first thing the next business morning, with the same itemized breakdown attached.

Freight, fuel surcharge, insurance, accessorials and proof-of-delivery handling — each on its own line with its own price. If a charge is not on the quote, you do not pay it. Liftgate, crating and battery handling appear as accepted add-ons, never as surprises on the final invoice.

Fourteen days. Surcharges move with fuel prices and peak-season demand, so the itemized rate holds its lines for two weeks from the date issued. After that, request a refresh — it takes minutes, and if our numbers have not moved, the original quote is simply reissued.

Customs & International

Every business importing into the EU needs an EORI number. When you ship with Colivelo, your goods clear under our centralized EU EORI at Rotterdam or Hamburg, so you do not need your own registration. We file the import declaration, compute duties and VAT, and keep the whole entry auditable.

Ocean freight from the US to Europe typically takes 14 to 21 days port-to-port, or 18 to 22 days door-to-door. Transit time depends on the departure port, destination port, and vessel schedule. Air freight reduces transit time to 3 to 7 days at a higher cost.

Equipment

Yes — that is our specialty. Two-post, four-post and single-post lifts travel in steel-safe vertical crating with hydraulic packs sealed and hardware bagged. Residential delivery includes liftgate and pallet-jack service as standard, and ends with a signed, photographed proof of delivery at your garage door.

Every lithium battery moves under UN 3481 protocol: packed in compliant packaging, terminals protected, state of charge at or below 30 percent, and handed to carriers certified for hazmat-aware transport. Compliance paperwork travels with the shipment, and the whole journey stays visible in your 9-scan GPS timeline.

Insurance & Claims

Yes. All-risk cargo insurance is included on every Colivelo shipment at no extra charge, from pickup to signed proof of delivery. High-value cargo can carry a higher declared value at booking in one click. If damage occurs, the claims team starts its first review within 24 hours of your report.

You need photographs of the damage from multiple angles, the original bill of lading showing cargo condition at pickup, the commercial invoice showing value, the packing list, and the signed delivery receipt. If the consignee noted damage on the delivery receipt, include that as well. Submit everything through our claims portal.

Document it and contact us — your claim enters first review within 24 hours, with an investigation update inside 5 days and a resolution proposal within 14. Because every crate is photographed at pickup and delivery, the evidence trail is already on file, which is exactly why our claims resolve instead of stall.

Trust

Check our US DOT number on the FMCSA SAFER database, our FMC license on the FMC OTI registry, and our Dutch KVK registration online — all public. Every credential, address and SLA is collected on our trust verification page, so verifying Colivelo takes about five minutes before you pay anything.

We accept credit cards, ACH transfers and bank transfers to verified business accounts. We never ask for gift cards, cryptocurrency or wire transfers to personal accounts — those are scammer payment rails. The carrier name and MC number are shared at booking so you can verify everything before money moves.

Still unsure? Ask a human.

Our dispatch and compliance teams answer every question with the same numbers you just read — usually within 2 hours.
